Job Description

The Desktop Support Engineer will be an integral part of the IT team helping the organisation transition in to 'Remote working'.

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals and basic network management. You will need to leverage technologies such as ZOOM, Microsoft Teams etc... to resolve multiple technical issues for the users.


Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 2-3 years experience in an information technology support function
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware, desktop operating systems including Microsoft, and Mac OS X
  • Application support experience
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Available to start on short notice.


Job Offer

A very attractive hourly rate with a high probability of a long term contract.
